Seal Strength Tester with Competitive Prices
The seal strength tester quantifies the force required to separate packaging seals, ensuring consistent bond integrity for product safety, sterility, and quality. Testing methods include tensile/peel tests (e.g., ASTM F88) for flexible materials and burst tests (e.g., ASTM F1140) for whole packages, verifying that packaging processes comply with industry standards in sectors such as medical devices and food packaging.
We measure the heat sealing parameters(temperature, dwell time and pressure) using a laboratory heat sealer (ASTM F2029). The seals are then peeled apart using a tensile strength tester to measure either ultimate seal strength (ASTM F88) or hot tack strength (ASTM F1921). Adjusting the sealing temperature and dwell time helps to determine the optimal sealing conditions.
