Water Vapor Transmission Rate Tester with Competitive Prices
The W Series Water Vapor Transmission Rate Tester is designed to test the Water Vapour Transmission Rate (WVTR) of plastic films, composite films, sheets and other materials used in the packaging, food, pharmaceutical, medical device, textile and construction industries. It is also known as Water Vapour Transmission Rate (WVTR) or Moisture Vapour Transmission Rate (MVTR).
There are two common WVTR testing methods:
Infrared Detection Sensor Method - Conforms to the following international standards:
- ISO 15106-2: Plastics Film and sheeting - Determination of water vapour transmission rate (Part 2: Infrared detection sensor method)
- ASTM F1249: Standard Test Method for Water Vapor Transmission Rate Through Plastic Film and Sheeting Using a Modulated Infrared Sensor
- TAPPI T557: Water vapor transmission rate through plastic films and sheeting using a modulated infrared sensor
