ZPY-G Bottle Axis Deviation Tester is designed to measure the perpendicularity (deviation) of preforms for ampoules, vials, PET bottles, and other containers used in the pharmaceutical, food, beverage, and cosmetic industries. According to the international standards, the innovative design and the fully automated test process greatly improves the accuracy of the test for preforms.
It had a basic turntable on which the preform was placed and rotated, with a probe checking the difference in movement. The Electronic Axis Deviation Tester checks the perpendicularity (deviation) of the PET preform, which depends on the shape, size and quality of the product.
Perpendicularity Tester / Bottle Deviation Tester: Describes its primary purpose—measuring how much the finish (mouth/neck) of a bottle or container deviates from being perfectly perpendicular (90°) to its base.
Coaxial Tester / Circle Runout Tester: Describes the methodology. It checks if the central axis of the bottle's finish is coaxial (aligned) with the axis of its body. "Runout" refers to the wobble or deviation observed as the bottle rotates.

Principle
Fix the bottom of the bottle on the rotating plate of the horizontal plate, make the mouth of the bottle touch the dial gauge, and rotate 360° to read the maximum and minimum values. 1/2 of the difference between the two is the perpendicularity value.
